LAST MINUTE UPDATE: Eric & I are playing tonight at SPIN Nightclub in Broadripple from 10-11, with Sinclair Wheeler coming on after us. Come out and start your Friday night off right with some good music.
Also, I just finished a brand new tune called "As One" - in fact, it should be playing right now... Look in the media player to the left of this page to hear it! This was my first crack on playing some new instuments on a tune, and I really had a lot of fun. I hope you all have just as much fun listening to it! It should be up on iTunes here in just a few weeks, but if you want it before then, just message me, and I'll give you a copy. Because you are awesome.

A big thank you to all our old friends who came out to see us at The Copper Bar for our Homecoming weekend show. It was great to see you all, and catch up on your lives, stories, and more than a few drinks...
Saturday we got the chance to open up for one of my favorite new bands, Lovesick Radio - if you don't know them, stop reading this and check them out right HERE. Peppers really is one of our favorite places to play, and getting to play with a fresh new band was totally badass, and a wild way to close out a ton of shows in the last 2 weeks.
As of now, we're off for a little bit coming up, but that never actually ends up happening... so make sure you stay tuned right here, as we'll probably be playing before you (or we) even know it. I'm working on some new things in the studio that I can't wait to share, and I'll see you out at the bars before you can count to 3. Remember to vote.

This election is getting to be obscene... I might just write more about it later. As if there weren't enough political blogs / thoughts / ways to waste your time on the internet already. I'm too tired to take up anybody's time right now. :) But, seriously, register to vote.

Eric & I have been talking, and last Thursday's show at Peppers was some of the most fun we've ever had on stage. As always it was great to see our friends out, but we were really happy to see so many new faces rocking out with us. After the show, we heard a lot of kind words, and more than a few questions about why Eric was standing 8 feet in the air rocking out to Jimi Hendrix.... We may never know, but you probably haven't seen the last of it. Audio from the show will be up soon.

So. This was a good weekend. I've had the chance to see a whole bunch of shows this summer. But with this weekend I guess the "summer concert season" sort of came to an end for me. Hopefully I can find another one or two to squeeze in somewhere. If not, I got plenty of music, crazy dancing, and tailgating in for one summer :)
Which brings us to our shows. Eric and I are playing this Thursday and next, at Peppers and Mo's (Check the Shows page for all the details). This Thursday most of all we REALLY would love to see people out. Peppers is a big show for us. Don't worry, I promise it will be a blast. It's all the Indy college's first week back, the drink specials are dangerously good, and ladies get in free! Hope to see you there, we'll be sure to put on a great show!
I've got some new music I've been working on for the last few months. Trouble is, I really, really, REALLY hate writing lyrics. The songs are done, and I know what I want to say, I'm just having a hard time committing anything to tape. I guess I'll just have to do what I always do, put them on a Setlist, finished or not, and frantically draw them up sitting at the bar before the show. Nothing like a firm deadline to motivate you...

First off I'd like to thank everyone who came out to watch Eric & I play our first shows this weekend. We really had a great time with you all, and feel great about the music we played. Not bad at all for our first two outings... Can't wait to see what happens with this. I've whipped up a cool new player thing, so if you head over to the "Shows" page you can hear the whole shows right away, and even grab a copy!

If you've been a regular on this website, you might notice a few things have changed. I've been thinking for a while that I needed to figure out a way to put everything in one place that's easy and better to look at :) So, that's what I'm working towards here... Kind of a personal blog thing as well as info about what I have going on musically in my life right now.
Which brings us to, well, that. You may be wondering what I'm doing with "my own" website nowadays... Due to the amount of recording I've been doing, and because I always seem to be playing live with different people, I thought it was probably best, and easiest, to do it this way. So, whether it's a new song I recorded, something I worked on for a friend, a show I'm playing with a band, or my usual acoustic gigs, you'll find it here.
